Our Anaplastologist

Colette received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Oklahoma City University and then went on to receive  a Master’s of Science with an emphasis in Prosthetics from the Biomedical Visualization graduate program at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).   While at UIC she worked closely with the Craniofacial rehabilitation team.  After school Colette studied under various other anaplastologist in order to observe other clinicians approaches to care.  She went to Precision Ocular Prosthetics in Nashville, Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma, the Craniofacial Prosthetics Unit, Sunnybooke Odette Caner Center in Toronto, and Baylor College of Dentistry, Center for Maxillofacial Prosthetics in Dallas.  Colette was the anaplastologist in the Maxillofacial Prosthetic Center at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio before she decided to go off on her own to start Personalized Prosthetics.   She also worked in Dallas at Medical Art Prosthetics and continues to see patients there on a case by case basis.  Colette is an active member of the International Anaplastology Association, she serves as secretary of the board and is the committee chair of the Educational Committee.
